Market Factors

It has been a while since I haggled for anything, so I headed to Panjiayuan Market, which is a large outdoor, semi-covered market, divided into quadrants designated for jewelry and prints, arts and crafts, housewares, and "flea market". I did my typical shopping routine, where I peruse all of the wares available, then start asking prices to get a feel for the ranges, and finally choose my items and let the games begin.

This was one artist that I found interesting. He is engaging in a traditional art form that involves painting intricate designs on the inside of perfume bottles. I have an admiration for difficult and patient art.

I did walk away with a few items, but I won't say what I bought since some are gifts. You will have to use your imagination.
