Clearasil, Please

In an earlier post, you saw the outside of the House of Blackheads. This was a guild for unmarried foreign merchants. Since its reconstruction, the building has served as a museum.

In the basement, the merchants' kitchen. And the original of the St. George statue from the outside of the building.
A very cool fireplace.
And the main ballroom.
Some trompe d'oeil for Mom.
You can see blackhead symbols throughout the house.
Even in the depiction of their patron saint Mauritius. (He was Egyptian, but is often depicted as a Moor.)
I also ascended the spire of St. Peter's for a view of the city.
And lastly, a very recognizable building in Riga. This is a merchant's house, but what is so distinctive is the decoration on the top of the tower.

I still like the real ones better. Isn't this the most smug cat you have ever seen?

The birds were hopping around him freely, which leads me to believe they had already seen him eat.
