Swimming's Hard

I struggled to decide where to head next... Kiev with Helen and Jeroen? Odessa with Nick and Kes? Romania for some hiking? Decisions, decisions. Luckily Kes was there to offer some advice. His solution? "Let's have a beer and we'll talk about it." Oddly enough, after one beer, my thinking was clarified. I would go to Kiev and then Odessa later in the week. Thanks, Kes! After I bought my ticket, I came back to the hostel. Exhausted from several late nights of partying, I mentioned to Kes that I thought I needed a nap. His solution? "Let's have a beer and we'll talk about it." I never did get that nap; Instead we all sat around the kitchen talking.

That's OK. I'll get some sleep on the train, right? Unfortunately, I was woken up at 3am because I was in the wrong bunk and the person refused to simply take the other available one.
That's OK, I will get some sleep at the hostel, right? Except that the guy that runs it puts the "hostile" in "hostel", so I spent some time trying to calm him down and then promptly went out for the day to avoid him.

That's OK, I'll sleep when I'm dead. (I hope.)
